Library Displays: Summer Reading Program 2015

I’m starting to get into a rhythm! Now that school is out, work is crazy busy, which, can be a bit to deal with, but I do really love it. We have a summer reading program that began this past Saturday and runs through the end of July. Along with some really cool programs and events, both kids and adults can participate in a reading competition. They need only read for ten hours and once they’ve completed that, they’re eligible for a prize pack or gift cards. It’s great to see so many little faces(and big ones!) get so excited about reading. Below are a few of the displays I’ve created for our Summer Reading Program themes: Every Hero Has A Story; Unmasked; & Escape The Ordinary.

As always, I had wonderful volunteers who helped me with creating these displays! Most of these will flow over into July, however, the Reference Desk is already severely damaged and will need to be replaced in the coming weeks. I’ll be sure to post an update with the new display!
