Library Displays: February 2015

I wanted to share with you some of my displays for February. I actually kind of despise the idea of Valentine’s Day (shouldn’t you show your love everyday?) but it’s a super easy holiday to decorate for!

Side note: My desk was recently remodeled and I’m so happy with it! There used to be this massive breakfast bar type wall across the right side. It was such an unfriendly barrier and I’m so glad it was able to be removed.

This display was so much fun to put together! I wrapped all of the books and then wrote a few taglines about it, much like a blind date contestant would use to sell themselves. There’s a card attached to each where they can “Rate Your Date”. When they return the book and card to the desk, we can help them find another great read!

I’ve had so much fun putting these displays together! Especially the Young Adult and children’s bulletin boards. I use Pinterest for my inspiration, but I love being able to put my own personal twist on it. I’m a huge fan of interactive displays and I’m hoping these two will be as big a success as my last ones.
